16/10/2014: new event on innovative approaches to assessing and governing low carbon cities in Milan, Italy (20-21 October)!

This two-day international workshop explores how a smart city can be defined and measured, including case studies from Amsterdam and Turin. It will also share what financial mechanisms and standards exist to support energy efficiency activities in cities. 

This workshop is organised by IEFE Bocconi and the Institute for Energy and Transport (IET) of the Joint Research Center of the European Commission, with contribution from the COST Action INOGOV.
