A significant benefit brought by the COOPENERGY project is the ability to share and learn with organisations from across the EU through the discussion forum.

This resource provides a forum where regional and local authorities can discuss and learn from one another on a variety of topics, including:

  • How to effectively engage stakeholders in the planning process
  • How to set up robust and long-lasting agreements between local and regional authorities
  • How to share successes effectively and maintain support for action from key decision-makers
  • What initiatives have been helpful to public authorities in order to meet their carbon reduction and climate change targets

Please note, you must be a registered user to participate in the forum.  Not a member? Sign up here.

The COOPENERGY project was designed to investigate how public authorities at regional level (e.g. county councils, region councils) can better 'collaborate' with public authorities at local level (e.g. municipalities, district councils) - and vice versa. This forum can be used to discuss and share information about the collaboration methods you have found most useful (or not!) for working in partnership at these levels.
